A true battle of a game right to the very end with our Ladies going down 1-2 to local rivals Skye

We had drawn 1-1 against them earlier in the year and we really fancied our chances again.

However a “soft goal” was conceded to make it 0-2 and it affected us momentarily.

Kaylan Walker grabbed a goal shortly after and our heads lifted and again it was “game on”!

Kaylan trying out a new position at centre forward latched on to a great through ball and took her chance really well.

We were unable to snatch a equalizer but kept trying until the end.

Quite a niggly encounter at times with Skye showing some dirty play and some very average attitude from their coaching quarters.

Normally I can handle loosing but this result didn’t sit well with me.

As always I am very proud of our ladies and we look forward to our last game next week.

There were some really good performances on the day, Keely, Demi, Kaylan and Miki all stood out for me.
