A super effort from our ladies this week earning themselves a well deserved point away at Skye.

Strikers really rising to the occasion making this game a real fair contest and a great spectacle.

Skye took the lead beating our offside trap but our ladies never dropped their heads.

Goalkeeper Jan Hill retired from the game sick in the 2nd half and was replaced by Micky Sansom who was superb.

Peninsula kept on plugging away until Captain Darcy Hill grabbed a great goal and a well deserved equalizer.

All in all a great performance which earned us a point.

Skye looked gutted and we went home with smiles on our faces! Well done ladies!

At times we rode our luck, defending deep and substitute keeper Micky making several saves but we had a chance or two in the 2nd half to win it , including hitting the bar.

Next week we face East Bentleigh and I bet we give them a run as well! Watch out Bentleigh, here we come!
