Season Contingency Plan remains in Phase 2

In line with the season contingency strategy announced on 30 January 2007, Football Federation Victoria can confirm that the Federation will remain in Phase 2 across all levels of competition.

Please see the attached season contingency strategy for further detail, but in short, this will result in the following:

• All Senior Men’s State, Provisional and Metropolitan and Women’s State Division One Reserves league competition will be shortened to 35 minute playing halves.

• All Senior Men’s State, Provisional and Metropolitan league competition to commence on Saturday, April 14, 2007.

• All Junior, Thirds, Masters and Women’s State league competition to commence on Sunday, April 29, 2007.

• All Rooball competition to commence on Sunday, May 13, 2007.

FFV will assess the Contingency Strategy on 19 March 2007.

FFV has advised all clubs to seek alternative training measures and heed their local council’s directive, regarding ground usage in the pre-season period.
