No team can score two own goals and expect to beat this clever Royal Park team and Karingal proved this to their cost.
Karingal opened the scoring through brilliant work by Taylor who beat four men before carefully placing the ball out of the reach of the goalkeeper. Royal Park replied through an own goal after Karingal failed to clear a corner.
The second half saw Royal Park go ahead with two goals, one of which again was an own goal. Karingal replied to make it 2-3 when after some fine interpassing Brickley converted.
This goal caused Karingal to lift their play but poor finishing brought no further goals. Royal Park clinched the game when scoring their fourth goal after one of their players was yards off-side.
